LTK Creator Privacy Statement

This Creator Privacy Notice supplements the LTK Privacy Statement, available at https://company.shopltk.com/privacy, and describes how LTK collects, uses, and shares personal information specific to LTK Creators. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Creator Terms of Service. You should read this Notice together with the LTK Privacy Statement, which covers data practices that apply to all LTK users (such as browsing metadata, cookies, purchase history, and preferences).

Information we Collect from Creators

In addition to the information described in the LTK Privacy Statement, we collect the following from Creators:

Application information. When you apply to become a Creator, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and your profiles on other online media to evaluate your fitness for LTK.

Contact and payment information. We collect your full name, phone number, and mailing address so we can contact you and pay you. You provide a payment method; our third-party payment processors handle payments, and we do not see or collect your credit card or banking information. We see your account balances, payment and commission history, collaboration data, and campaign information.

Profile and casting information. When you create a Creator profile, you share information such as your handle, photos, and demographic information. We also derive information such as your interests, sales patterns, and age group. We use this to identify you on LTK and enable you to be cast in Advertisers' campaigns.

Sensitive information. You may choose to share demographic information such as race or ethnicity, gender, style or body type, areas of interest, and general location. These fields are optional. We use location to cast you in regional campaigns and make local recommendations. Government ID may be required for identity verification or tax/payment processing and will only be used for those purposes.

Content. You may upload content in various media including photos, videos, recordings, and sounds. You may only upload content of others if you have the right to do so.

Browser extension data. When you use LTK Creator browser tools or extensions (such as Link Ninja), we collect URLs, product information, and your interactions with the extension to provide the linking service and notify you of commission-eligible products. You can disable or uninstall the extension at any time.

Connected platform data. LTK may require you to connect your accounts on third-party platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Pinterest) as a condition of accessing certain features. When you connect an account, you authorize LTK to access data including follower counts, audience demographics, engagement metrics, and content performance data on an ongoing basis while the connection remains active. You can manage or disconnect connected accounts in your account settings, though doing so may affect your access to certain features.

Social Media sites. In addition to the social media data collection described in the LTK Privacy Statement, when you authenticate to social media on LTK we collect data on traffic, impressions, views, clicks, follower count, and audience demographics. When you apply to become a Creator, we pull information from your social media sites such as your follower count and audience demographics. The data we receive depends on your privacy settings.

Advertisers. We may receive personal information from Advertisers, such as introductions or recommendations, to reach out to new Creators and coordinate onboarding.

Publicly available sources. In addition to the uses described in the LTK Privacy Statement, we use publicly available information to verify Creator applications and enhance Creator profiles on LTK.

How we Share Creator Personal Information

In addition to the sharing described in the LTK Privacy Statement, we share Creator personal information in the following scenarios:

Advertisers. We share your personal information with Advertisers to provide our service to you. When you participate in collaborations, we provide your name, social media handle, photos and videos, age group, and other profile information. When you feature an Advertiser's products or use an LTK link, the Advertiser sees your referral. Advertisers may receive lists of top referrers. For campaigns, we share information about you and campaign performance. You may choose to receive messages from Advertisers and share your mailing address for gifts. We may recommend Advertisers based on your interests or trends. We may cross-reference information you provide across different features and contexts within the Services and share it with Advertisers. Advertisers who receive Creator personal information are subject to separate data protection obligations under their agreements with LTK.

If we terminate or suspend your account for conduct that may affect an Advertiser's brand, reputation, or business interests, we may notify the affected Advertiser(s).

Affiliate Networks. Your LTK link includes a number identifying you so we can pay your commission. In some states, sharing your information with Advertisers or affiliate networks may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Our Do Not Sell page provides details and opt-out information. Because affiliate networks are necessary for tracking commissions, Creators can only opt out by not using the LTK service.

Content Distribution. Your Creator LTK Content may be distributed, syndicated, or otherwise made available by LTK to third parties, platforms, channels, or media in connection with the Services, as described in the Creator Terms of Service.

Social Media sites, Ad Networks and Advertising Partners. We may connect with you on social media and advertise LTK's services on other platforms. You may opt in to programs in which we share your personal information with social media sites, ad networks, and advertising partners on your behalf, such as by boosting your posts. Posts on third party sites are subject to those sites' terms.

Creators and API Developers. We may provide information to third-party sites and applications that interface with LTK APIs. We share anonymized geolocation data, purchased items, and sale amounts with Advertisers and Creators.

AI Tools

In addition to the AI practices described in the LTK Privacy Statement, LTK uses AI tools to analyze your uploaded content to identify featured products, enable shopping functionality, increase performance in search and discovery, and assist in casting. We use AI and machine learning to automatically identify and tag products, brands, styles, and shopping opportunities in photos and videos you upload. You can review and edit the product information before finalizing your upload. We use this analysis to create product tags, generate shopping links, create captions on posts and videos, and provide recommendations.

We may use your Creator LTK Content, profile information, persona, audience data, engagement metrics, performance history, and other account information to train, develop, and improve LTK's own AI models and automated features. LTK may use the outputs of such analysis for any purpose related to the Services.

LTK may also update or optimize product links within your content using automated tools, as described in the Creator Terms of Service.

Creators' Disclosure and Privacy Obligations

When you use LTK links, scripts, and other technology on your own website, blog, or social media site, we collect and store information about you and your readers. You are responsible for ensuring your own properties comply with applicable laws regarding personal information and consumer data, and for making required disclosures with respect to marketing to consumers, as described in the Creator Terms of Service.

Children in Creator Content

If your content features or depicts a minor, we may collect and process information related to that content, including for compliance with applicable child content creator and child influencer laws.

SMS Messages

If you have consented to receive SMS messages from LTK, we use your phone number to send informational and, where you have separately opted in, marketing text messages. You can manage SMS preferences in your account settings and opt out at any time by texting the applicable STOP keyword. See the Creator SMS Terms for details.

Creator-Specific Choices

Closing your account. When you close your account, we will resolve any unpaid commissions before closing. Upon account closure, you must cease using LTK Confidential Information, analytics, and other proprietary information as described in the Creator Terms of Service.

Data retention. In addition to the retention practices described in the LTK Privacy Statement, we may retain commission payment records and other data associated with your Creator account for legal, tax, or security purposes after account closure.

State-specific rights. As noted in the LTK Privacy Statement, exercising your deletion rights may affect your ability to use the Services, including as a Creator.

Changes to this Creator Privacy Notice

LTK may update this Creator Privacy Notice from time to time. The current version will be posted at [URL]. Material changes will be communicated as described in the LTK Privacy Statement.
