Community Guidelines

LTK is a diverse community of creators, advertisers, and users who connect to share inspiration and recommendations. These Community Guidelines outline what we expect from everyone on LTK.

Creators can moderate their own communities and delete comments on their content. We expect you to do so consistently with these guidelines. We may also step in to review content and take action when needed, including removing content, suspending accounts, or terminating access.

These guidelines will evolve over time. We use our judgment when applying them, and we have the final say.

Content Standards. We don’t allow content that:

• is unlawful, or promotes unlawful activities or goods;
• is sexually obscene, explicit or suggestive, or involves sexual exploitation or abuse of any person, particularly minors;
• promotes or facilitates human trafficking, smuggling, or exploitation;
• is libelous, defamatory, or fraudulent;
• is discriminatory or abusive toward any individual or group;
• is false, misleading, or misrepresents any person, entity, product, or service;
• promotes products or services in violation of applicable law;
• harasses or abuses others, including LTK employees and other users;
• threatens or incites violence toward any individual or group, especially on the basis of who they are;
• depicts, promotes, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities that could result in physical harm;
• gratuitously depicts or glorifies violence; or
• disrupts the experience of other users or is off-topic for the platform.

Some product categories, such as alcohol, health and beauty products with health claims (like SPF, anti-aging, or acne treatments), supplements, infant formula, financial products, and cannabis, carry additional legal requirements. If you promote these types of products, you're responsible for complying with all applicable laws. LTK may restrict or remove such content at its discretion.

Authenticity. LTK is built on real people sharing genuine experiences and recommendations. We don’t allow content or activity that:

• is inauthentic activity or content, including AI-generated content that deceives or misrepresents identity, experience, or engagement;
• is spam, including automated bulk activity or repeatedly posting identical content;
• constitutes a pyramid scheme or similar solicitation;
• is phishing or attempted phishing; or
• constitutes bulk distribution of promotions or advertising prohibited by the Creator Agreement.

Be transparent about your relationships. If you receive compensation, commissions, free products, discounts, or other benefits in connection with content you post, disclose it clearly. Your opinions should be genuinely yours, and any claims about a product should reflect what someone could typically expect.

Intellectual Property and Privacy. We don’t allow content that:

• infringes any intellectual property right, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or right of publicity;
• impersonates any person or entity, or fraudulently misrepresents your identity, affiliation, or purpose; or
• violates the privacy of any third party, such as by posting someone's personal information without consent.

Make sure you have the right to use any content you share, including images, music, and text. Don't share someone's image, content, or personal information without their consent, even if it's publicly available elsewhere.

Platform Integrity. We don’t allow content or activity that:

• attempts to gain unauthorized access to any service, device, data, account, or network;
• uses automated processes to extract information from the Services, such as bots or web crawlers;
• attempts to disrupt, disable, or overload the Services;
• contains viruses or other technology designed to interfere with the Services;
• provides material support to any organization designated as a foreign terrorist organization under applicable law; or
• violates, encourages, or facilitates the violation of any applicable law.

Enforcement. LTK is a place to engage your community respectfully. Where needed, we provide tools for you to manage your community, including deleting comments and flagging content.

Our team reviews reports on a case-by-case basis. We may take action in response to any violation of these guidelines, including removing content, suspending accounts, or terminating access.
