LTK Privacy Statement

When you use LTK, we use your information to make the service work for you. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information, whether or not you have an LTK account. The ways in which we use or share your personal information will vary depending on your relationship with us. We are committed to protecting your personal information regardless of where you are located.

If you are an LTK Creator, this Privacy Statement applies to you, and the LTK Creator Privacy Notice at https://company.shopltk.com/creator-privacy-notice, describes additional data practices specific to Creators.

Definitions

Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the applicable LTK terms of service. This Privacy Statement applies to our processing of personal information on our Services.

"Personal information" means information that relates to an identifiable, living individual person or their household. It does not include aggregated or deidentified data that cannot reasonably be associated with or linked to you.

Our LTK Community includes Creators and users. Creators are individuals and entities who use our Services to share content or links. Users are individuals who use our Services to engage with content. When we say "you," we mean our LTK Community members.

Advertisers are merchants, retailers, brands, and other businesses that sell products in collaboration with Creators. An "LTK Link" is a link branded with LTK or LTK's rStyle branding, whether on LTK's platform or on a third party site.

Some posts on LTK are ads sponsored by our Advertisers. When we provide customized content like recommendations based on your favorites, we are targeting ads to you. We do not sell your personal information to Advertisers based on how you browse LTK.

LTK is the controller (or equivalent) of the personal information we process.

How we collect and use your personal information

We collect information from different sources: information you provide directly, information we collect automatically, data we infer or generate, and information from third parties. We use your personal information to provide and improve our Services, manage our business operations, secure our systems, detect fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

Information you share directly

Contact, profile, and account information. When you register, we collect your username, email address, and profile information. We may also collect your device ID, location (if you provide it), age, and phone number.

Friends and contacts. If you share your phone contacts, we suggest people you know who are already on LTK. If you invite friends and they join, they will follow you automatically.

Inquiry and support information. If you contact us, we collect and use that information to respond, track inquiries, and improve performance.

Comments and profile content. Content you share on our Services (comments, messages, group chats, posts) may include your personal information. We use your profile information to identify you and connect you with other LTK Community members. Community content, including comments and post likes, may be used in LTK promotional materials.

Screenshots and camera roll data. With your permission, we may access images in your camera roll, such as screenshots of products with an LTK link, to connect you with a Creator's LTK or recommend products.

Survey and form information. If you complete a survey or form, we collect your responses, including testimonials, and use them for the purposes explained in the survey.

Event information. If you attend an LTK event, we collect registration and badge information and share it with event sponsors.

Information we generate or collect automatically

Browsing and email metadata. When you visit our website, use our apps, click on an LTK link, read an email from LTK, or otherwise interact with us, we automatically collect metadata such as your IP address, pages viewed, referring address, device and browser type, date and time of visit, and errors. We use tracking and session replay technologies to provide support, improve navigation, and reduce errors. Preference information and inferences. If you're logged in, we track your interactions (posts liked, Creators followed, products favorited) to generate preference information and make recommendations. We also infer your general geographic location based on your IP address.

Product and shopping data. When you browse or interact with content on LTK, we use information about the products you view, click on, and purchase to make recommendations and improve our Services.

Purchase history. When you follow an LTK link and make a purchase, we collect destination and basic order information such as value. We use this to manage relationships, pay commissions, and make recommendations.

Information we collect from third parties

We may collect personal information from third parties and combine it with information we already have, including from Creators who refer you via LTK links and business partners who provide co-branded services.

Service Providers. Service providers performing services on our behalf (such as payment processors, survey providers, and marketing providers) may collect and share personal information with us. We may also use information providers to correct or supplement personal information, such as updated contact information. If LTK has contacted you, we will share information about the third party that provided your information.

Social Media sites. When you connect to or interact with LTK through social media, we may receive information you permit those sites to share, including name, gender, date of birth, location, and interests. The data we receive depends on your privacy settings with each site.

Publicly Available Sources. We collect personal information from publicly available sources, such as contact information, employment data, and demographic information. We use this to contact individuals and personalize our Services. We do not sell this information.

How we share your personal information

We share personal information to provide our Services. In the last twelve months, we have shared the categories described above in the following scenarios:

Service providers. We share your personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including for payment processing, customer support, marketing communications, website hosting, IT services, analytics, and administrative services, as well as service providers that enable direct purchases from Advertisers through the LTK platform. Our service providers include social media providers with whom we share aggregate information to advertise LTK on other platforms and to target similar ("lookalike") audiences. Advertisers and Affiliate Networks. When you click on an LTK link, we take you to an Advertiser's website, sometimes through an affiliate network. We pass along typical click metadata so the Advertiser knows the product, the source (LTK), and which Creator referred you. We do not share other personal information with the Advertiser; if you log in to their site, their terms govern. If you are a representative of an Advertiser, we collect the same personal information as we collect for other users, as described above.

Compliance with legal obligations. We may disclose personal information where compelled by applicable law or valid government request, to protect rights and property, in connection with legal claims, to protect the security of our services, or to protect health and safety. Where possible, we object to improper legal requests and notify you of required disclosures.

Business transfers. In a merger, sale, or acquisition, personal information may be part of the assets shared during due diligence or change of ownership.

Aggregated or deidentified information. We may share deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify individuals. We will not attempt to reidentify deidentified data.

Sale of personal information. Common website tools like Google Analytics and social media cookies receive your IP address, device type, and other metadata. Some U.S. laws define this as a "sale" of personal information. You can opt out using our website's cookie tool or via our Do Not Sell page.

LTK Affiliates. We share personal information across our subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies to provide the Services. Our affiliates use your personal information only as described in this Privacy Statement.

With Consent or Direction. We may disclose personal information to third parties with your consent or at your direction.

AI and automated decision making

LTK uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and automated decision making to enhance our Services, including to determine your interests and make recommendations, enable shopping features and product discovery, create and maintain product databases, and power an AI chatbot. If you interact with our chatbot, we will let you know you are talking to a chatbot.

We do not use AI or automated decision making to make decisions that would have a legal impact to you.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to automatically collect information as you navigate our Services. For details, see our [Cookie Policy].

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information and require our service providers to do the same. To protect your account, use a strong password, never share it, and keep your devices updated. We will never contact you unexpectedly requesting your account ID, password, payment information, or national identification numbers.

Global privacy compliance and international transfers

LTK is a global company committed to complying with applicable data protection laws.

Legal basis for processing. If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing (such as the EEA or UK), we typically process your personal information where necessary to perform a contract with you, where processing is in our legitimate interests (such as understanding our community, managing relationships, responding to inquiries, carrying out core operations, and detecting fraud), where we have your consent, or where we have a legal obligation.

International transfers. LTK is based in the United States and may transfer your personal information internationally. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the International Data Transfer Agreement. For other countries, we comply with applicable data transfer laws. You may obtain a copy of our transfer mechanisms by contacting us.

Job applicants. Our Candidate Privacy Notice describes how we handle applicant personal information.

Children. We do not knowingly permit children under 16 to sign up for an account and do not direct our Services to children. If we discover a child under 16 has signed up, we will promptly remove their personal information. Parents or guardians may contact us to request removal at datarequests@rewardstyle.com.

State-specific privacy information (U.S.)

We process your personal information in accordance with applicable U.S. state data privacy laws. We do not discriminate based on where you live, though deleting or restricting your personal information will affect your ability to use LTK.

You have the right to request that we: (i) provide details about the categories of personal information we collect, use, disclose, share, and sell; (ii) provide access to and a copy of your personal information; (iii) correct inaccurate personal information; (iv) restrict use of your sensitive information; (v) delete your personal information; and (vi) opt you out of "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

You may exercise these rights yourself or through an authorized agent. We will verify authorization before processing. For California residents, contact us for more specific information about our business-purpose sharing.

Your choices

Account information. You can access, correct, and delete your personal information in your account settings. Some data cannot be changed or deleted for security or legal reasons. You can unlink connected third-party services in your account settings. You are responsible for keeping your information current.

Communications. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking unsubscribe or by contacting Customer Support. You cannot opt out of service emails (such as password resets or terms updates) unless you deactivate your account. You can manage push notifications in your account settings or through your device.

Closing your account. You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting Customer Support. You will lose access to your account and its content. For Creators, additional terms apply to account closure; see the [Creator Privacy Notice].

Data retention. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you close your account, barring legal or reporting requirements, we delete your full profile within 30 days. We may retain some data after closure for legal or security purposes.

Resolving disputes

For disputes relating to your agreement with us, see that agreement's dispute resolution provisions. For data protection disputes, LTK cooperates with EU data protection authorities, the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, and the UK Information Commissioner's Office, as applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We ask that you contact us first.

LTK is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

LTK may change this Privacy Statement from time to time. The current version is always available at https://company.shopltk.com/privacy. If we make a material change affecting your rights, we will provide reasonable notice by email or in the App. Translations, if provided, are for convenience; the English version controls to the extent permitted by local laws.
